It is so sad, so see what the Nigerian public schools have turned into this past few years, it really worries me what the future of our Nigerian child holds.
The learning environment this children find them selves in is very poor, it's nothing to write about in fact it's close to nothing. You see children sitting on d floors of the class rooms, on the windows to receive classes.
The Government has totally ignored our public schools allowing them to dilapidate in both structures and quality it is really sad.
This Condition of learning this children are Going through has led to them behaving like animals, staying away from school, fitting with teachers, the female students getting pregnant or even molested by male teachers, the male students joining secret cults, turning into thieves... So much is at stake, so much has gone wrong already and its high time this stops.
The parents of this children are so much involved in this too, they don't even care about their children, they just get married to plenty wives and give birth to numerous children and finally dump them in public schools.
The classes were this children learn are jam-packed, you will get to see over a hundred students in one class. This is really poor for our educational system in Nigeria and it really has to stop.
I use this medium to call on who so ever is involved in the affairs of the public schools in Nigeria to wake up from their slumbers and make this right...

Daniel Oshiorenoya Yerimah better known as Deewyne is a Nigerian contemporary christian recording artist, singer, songwriter and performer from Edo state, Nigeria. Music started for him at an early age while learning how to play the drum from his mother and joining an acappela group (The Ordained Voices).

A Bizarre experience in church

….So I was at a church in Benin city (name withheld) and during a dance competition, (apparently organized to commemorate the independence) the DJ thought it wise to play the intro of olamide’s song “shakitibobo”. what happened next was mind boggling!!,
The entire church went wild with ecstacy and excitement! Young people waving their hands and moving their bodies with reckless abandon! – Mind you, these were the same people who were reluctant to stand up from their seats during the worship session just a few minutes ago! It was minutes before I recovered from the shock of what I just experienced! Unanswered Questions and thoughts ran through my mind faster than Usain both could beat his own time record.
This shocking experience left me wondering; “are we really who we say we are? ; Where are we headed? If such behavior could be exhibited right in the house of God, I can only but imagine what some people do outside the church!
Many churches have lost the element of spirituality and the Holy Spirit is obviously absent! Church has become just another social gathering!! For how long shall we wallow in worldliness and double mindedness?
We are the salt of the earth but if the salt loses its flavor of what use is it? But to be thrown out and be trampled under the foot of men.

The World is waiting on us to cause a change and make an impact, therefore we can’t afford to walk in the flesh! We have to renew our minds and put aside our religiosity and dualistic approach to Christianity.
